COGOG Membership

Get Involved!

Would you like to join the food network in Denbighshire?

Membership of the wider network is made up of all types of community food initiatives, with anything from free food schemes to allotments, community cafes and social supermarkets; any groups are welcome.  Whether you’re a food producer, supplier or grower, all community groups and initiatives can become part of the network and reap the benefits it offers.

By being part of the network, CFI’s (Community Food Initiatives) can:

  • Receive funding for food, equipment, growing materials, etc
  • Share/receive and distribute surplus food stocks across projects
  • Share advice and guidance, lessons learned, and good practice
  • Have a say on the development of further CFI’s in your area
  • Be included in the Denbighshire Food Network Directory published online

To find out more, or to register your group as part of the Denbighshire Network, please contact us.

COGOG Structure

The work of the Cogog Partnership is coordinated by key stakeholders that make up the Strategic Partnership Board and Operational Steering Group.

Membership is continuously reviewed, and partners with relevant expertise are invited to join.  Other organisations and community groups from the wider Cogog food network, are involved at local levels for specific Task & Finish Groups, to plan and coordinate projects and workstreams with a ‘Place Based approach’, to include local residents that would volunteer at, or benefit from, the projects being developed.

The Operational Steering Group leads the work of projects undertaken as part of the Cogog Partnership, under the direction and guidance of the Strategic Partnership Board.

The Steering Group develops project proposals to present to the Strategic Board, manages and monitors project delivery, and plans project expenditure as agreed by the Strategic Board.
